Cookies

Last updated 9 August 2026

Most cookie policies exist to justify tracking. This one is short because there is not much to justify.

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third party profiling. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, usually so it can recognise you on a later visit. Under UK law, non essential cookies need your consent before they are set. Because we do not set any, there is nothing for you to consent to.

What actually happens when you visit

Two things are worth knowing, neither of which involves cookies on our part.

Typefaces

The fonts on this site are served by Google Fonts. Loading them means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which involves your IP address, in the same way as loading any image or file hosted elsewhere. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies. If you would rather avoid the request entirely, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still work with your system fonts.

Payments

If you subscribe to Pro, checkout happens on a page hosted by Stripe, not by us. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment securely and to prevent fraud. Those are governed by Stripe's cookie policy, and they are strictly necessary for taking a payment safely.

The extension stores things, but not cookies

The Companyhaus browser extension keeps a small amount of information on your own device using your browser's built in extension storage. This is not a cookie, it is never sent to advertisers, and it does not follow you around the web. It holds:

Removing the extension removes all of it. There is more detail in our privacy policy.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything else that sets non essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before doing so.
